Suburban Building Center was founded in 1960 by Alvin Meier, Donald Meier, Willis Meyer, and Wray Woelfel. They started out in a single building and as the business grew they added several sheds to house building supplies.

In 1990, Suburban expanded its store to roughly four times its original size. With a newly expanded product line, as well as a showroom, the store returned better than ever. The showroom, located on the second floor, is an area where customers can see displays of the wide variety of quality doors, windows, flooring, siding, kitchen, and bath displays.

Today, we pride ourselves in our knowledgeable sales staff, affordable prices, and variety of items, using our years of experience to give our customers the best professional service.
